Scientific laboratories

1. Soil tillage and planting mechanization laboratory

The main task of the laboratory is to improve the machines used in the main and pre-planting tillage and land leveling in the direction of increasing productivity and quality, reducing labor, energy and fuel consumption and ensuring environmental protection, developing new types of them.

3. Laboratory of harvesting machines

Carrying out research and development work on the development and improvement of high-quality technical means and energy-saving technologies for harvesting and post-harvest processing of grain and fodder crops grown in Uzbekistan.

5. Laboratory of machine technology system and use of machine-tractor park

Development of a promising system of machines and technologies for the complex mechanization of agriculture in the field of agriculture. Participation in the development of model technological maps of the production of agricultural products. Determining the types of work of agricultural technological processes, productivity and consumption norms of fuel and lubricants of mechanization tools.

7. Laboratory of resource saving and automation of technological processes in agriculture

Development and implementation of energy and resource-saving electrical sorting devices. Development of regulations on efficient use and saving of electricity in agricultural production. Implementation of design control over developments introduced to agricultural production.

9. Laboratory of mechanization of dry lands and desert pastures

Conduct research and development on improving existing techniques and creating new ones to improve rain-fed agriculture and desert pastures, and introduce modern soil-protecting and resource-saving technologies.

2. Laboratory of mechanization of crop care and protection

Cooperation with machine-building enterprises and customers in the development of seed sowing and crop cultivation technologies and mechanization tools, introduction of the results of research into agricultural production.

4. Gardening and vegetable mechanization laboratory

6. Laboratory of mobile power tools

Machine and mechanism design department

The construction service has a great contribution in the preparation of experimental and industrial copies of promising agricultural machinery created on the basis of initial requirements or technical assignments. In this case, specialists of the construction service perform the following tasks:

  • development of project-construction documents;
  • preparation of drawings using computer programs;
  • participation in the process of making machines, their units and details at manufacturing plants;
  • participation in the process of checking (testing) the stability and main indicators of experimental and industrial copies of new machines in laboratory-field conditions.

Experience and testing department

Reliability and objectivity of the decisions made on the results of research and testing of the technique are mainly determined by the fulfillment of the requirements of the quality of the metrological supply and the uniformity of the measurements.

The metrological service of the institute traditionally controls the condition of measuring instruments. It remains almost the only one in the Republic to carry out measurements using tensometry, as evidenced by cooperation with "BMKB-Agromash" JSC, TIMI, ToshDAU, SamQXI and a number of other organizations.

Information Resources department

To improve the existing software for processing the results of multivariate experiments, taking into account the development of computer technology, the department has developed software that allows you to build regression models in the form of a second-order polynomial, as well as 3D graphics for these models.

The software is a software product created on the basis of the interaction of Microsoft Excel and Python, and consists of a Microsoft Excel Visual Basic application for performing calculations, as well as a Python program for creating 3D plots using the PythonPlotly library.

Patent and Library Department

Specialists in patent science carry out the following work on collecting and distributing information about intellectual property objects and their legal protection:

  • participation in patent research at all stages of development of agricultural techniques and technologies;
  • participate in consideration of issues related to publication of information on inventions made at the institute;
  • assisting scientists in filling out applications and necessary technical documents for intellectual property objects (utility models, inventions, trademarks, industrial samples, etc.), performing calculations, producing and testing experimental samples to acquaint scientific employees of the institute with the rights of inventors;
  • using modern computer technology, communication and communication tools to systematically replenish the patent fund in accordance with the directions of the institute's activities;
  • participation in legal protection of intellectual property objects.

The institute's patent fund includes complete and abstract statements on inventions and other intellectual property (280,000 documents).

Production divisions

SRIAM

At the same time, there are two production departments at the SRIAM:

1) Experimental plot.

The experimental plot is self-financed by growing agricultural products and selling them to residents and organizations. In addition to crop production, the experimental site produces livestock products on its 250 head cattle farm.

Main objectives:

  • To increase the fertility of the land, to obtain a higher yield from agricultural crops, to implement the works on mechanization and electrification of the works performed by the experimental plot in the field of agriculture, cattle breeding, seed cultivation and other sectors by introducing fans and technical achievements and production;
  • Implementation of new agricultural machines and technologies created by the Institute's scientific laboratories, creation of conditions for conducting field experiments and tests, and active participation in these activities.
2) Agromeliorativ technological parks.

Agromelioration technology parks of SRIAM in Beruni, Republic of Karakalpakstan, Jondor, Bukhara Region, Navbahor, Navoi Region, Guzor, Kashkadarya Region, and Rishton District, Fergana Region organized in project districts within the framework of large foreign projects based on orders.

The main goal:

  • Demonstration of soil protection, resource-saving technologies and technical tools implementing these technologies in project directions and scientific application.

Technological parks are equipped with modern tractors and agricultural and ameliorating machines for the implementation of resource-efficient technologies for the cultivation of agricultural crops. Despite the completion of project work, technological parks continue their activities by further expanding scientific research.
